1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Namecroft's services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use our services. Namecroft provides a multi-domain email identity service including vanity email addresses, email forwarding, and web redirects.

2. Service Description

Namecroft provides the following services:

  • Vanity email addresses: Custom email addresses on our managed domains (e.g., name@faceti.me).
  • Email forwarding: Inbound emails to your vanity address are forwarded to your registered email, subject to daily limits.
  • Web redirects: Visitors to your domain path (e.g., faceti.me/name) are redirected to your configured URL.
  • Email sending (Premium): The ability to send emails from your vanity address, subject to daily limits.

3. Accounts

You must provide a valid email address to create an account. This email serves as both your authentication method (via magic links) and your forwarding destination. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and any passkeys registered to it.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

Email addresses require an active paid subscription. Payments are processed by Polar, our Merchant of Record. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled. You may cancel your subscription at any time from your dashboard; service continues until the end of the current billing period.

Refund requests are handled in accordance with Polar's refund policy. Please contact us if you believe a refund is warranted.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for sending spam, phishing, or unsolicited bulk emails.
  • Forward emails to addresses that consistently bounce or are invalid.
  • Attempt to circumvent rate limits or abuse prevention measures.
  • Use the service for illegal activities or to distribute malicious content.
  • Impersonate others or register addresses in bad faith.
  • Set redirect URLs that point to malicious, phishing, or illegal content.

6. Rate Limits

Email forwarding is limited to 200 emails per day per address. Premium subscribers may send up to 200 emails per day per address. These limits are designed to prevent abuse and ensure reliable service for all users. Limits reset daily at midnight UTC.

7. Reserved Addresses

Certain email address local parts are reserved and cannot be registered. These include common system addresses (admin, postmaster, abuse), generic terms (support, info, contact), and domain-specific reserved names. We reserve the right to modify the reserved list at any time.

8. Address Creation Limits

Users may create a maximum of one new email address per domain per month. This limit helps prevent address hoarding and ensures fair access for all users.

9. Account Suspension

We may suspend or terminate your account if we detect violations of these terms, including abuse of email forwarding, spam activity, or repeated bounce issues. Accounts with consistently bouncing forwarding destinations may be flagged for re-verification.

10. Limitation of Liability

Namecroft is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted email delivery or 100% uptime. We are not liable for lost, delayed, or undelivered emails. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the preceding 12 months.

11. Trademarks and No Affiliation

Namecroft and all of its associated domains are independent services operated by Namecroft. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or in any way officially connected with any other company, product, or service. Any resemblance between our domain names, brand names, or service names and the trademarks, products, or services of any third party is purely coincidental.

All third-party trademarks, service marks, trade names, and product names referenced in our services remain the property of their respective owners. Namecroft does not claim any rights to third-party trademarks and makes no representations regarding any affiliation or relationship with their owners.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via your registered email. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
