Introduction

Namecroft ("we", "us", or "our") operates a multi-domain email identity service that allows you to purchase vanity email addresses with forwarding and web redirect capabilities. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our services.

Information We Collect

We collect information necessary to provide our email forwarding and identity services:

• Account information: Your email address (used for authentication via magic links and as your forwarding destination).
• Email address selections: The vanity email addresses you create (e.g., name@faceti.me) and associated settings such as redirect URLs.
• Payment information: Subscription and payment data is processed by our Merchant of Record, Polar. We do not store your credit card details directly.
• Usage data: Daily counts of emails forwarded and sent through your vanity addresses, used for rate limiting and service monitoring.
• Authentication credentials: Passkey data (WebAuthn public keys) if you choose to register passkeys for faster sign-in.

How We Use Your Information

• To provide email forwarding from your vanity addresses to your authenticated email.
• To enable web redirects from your vanity domain paths to your configured URLs.
• To manage your subscription and process payments via Polar.
• To enforce rate limits and prevent abuse of our email forwarding infrastructure.
• To send transactional emails such as magic link authentication.

Email Forwarding and Content

When emails are sent to your vanity address, our mail server forwards them to your authenticated email. We do not read, analyze, or store the content of forwarded emails. Emails pass through our infrastructure transiently and are not retained after delivery.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Polar: Payment processing and subscription management (Merchant of Record).
• Neon: Database hosting (PostgreSQL).
• Vercel: Application hosting and deployment.
• Resend: Transactional email delivery (magic links).

Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Usage statistics are retained for service monitoring purposes. If you delete your account, your personal data will be removed from our systems. Anonymized aggregate data may be retained for analytics.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your personal data through your dashboard.
• Update your account settings and email address configurations.
• Delete your account and associated data from the Settings page.
• Request a copy of your data by contacting us.

Security

We use industry-standard security practices including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), secure authentication (magic links and WebAuthn passkeys), and database-level access controls. We never store passwords as our authentication is entirely passwordless.
